Privacy Policy

Worn Daily helps you keep a personal watch collection and wear journal. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

Information you provide

Account information includes your email address, account identifier, and the name you provide or share through Apple or Google sign-in. Authentication providers handle their own sign-in credentials; Worn Daily does not receive your Apple or Google password.

Collection and journal information includes the watches you add, serial numbers and purchase details you choose to enter, wear dates, notes, photos, straps, and achievements. These records are associated with your Worn Daily account. Do not enter information you do not want included in your collection or backups.

Device permissions and location

Camera access is used only when you take a photo. The system photo picker lets you choose individual images to import without giving Worn Daily access to your entire photo library.

Location is optional. With your permission, Worn Daily uses your device location to find a city through Apple's location and mapping services. Saved wear locations contain city, region, country, and city-level map information rather than the device's precise coordinates. You can enter a city manually or leave the location empty. Manage camera and location permissions in iOS Settings.

Storage, synchronization, and service providers

Worn Daily stores collection information and photos on your device. Account and collection records are synchronized using Supabase when connectivity and authentication allow. Network services may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.

Apple and Google process information when you use their sign-in services. Apple's location and mapping services process requests when you look up a city. These providers handle information under their own privacy policies. Worn Daily shares information with service providers as needed to provide these features, and may disclose information when required by law or to protect the service and its users.

Optional cloud backups

When you choose to create a backup, Worn Daily sends an archive containing your account-linked collection, wear history, photos, and related records to your selected iCloud Drive or Google Drive account. Google Drive backups use the app's private application-data folder; the app requests access for its backup files rather than general access to your Drive documents.

Backups use your cloud provider's storage and security controls. Worn Daily does not add a separate backup password or app-level encryption. Backup files remain in that cloud account until removed. Exported files and copies you share are under your control.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate your account, maintain your collection and journal, synchronize records, generate your personal statistics and achievements, and perform backups and restores you request. Worn Daily does not sell your personal information, serve third-party advertisements, or track you across other companies' apps and websites for advertising.

Retention and your choices

You can edit or delete watches and wear entries, export your collection, and delete your Worn Daily account from Settings. Account deletion requests removal of your account and associated server records and clears the current account's local collection. Deletion requires an internet connection. Some service-provider security logs or system backups may remain according to the provider's retention practices or legal requirements.

Signing out is not account deletion. Deleting a Worn Daily account does not delete independently stored iCloud or Google Drive backups or files you have exported or shared. Remove those copies separately through the relevant provider. Uninstalling the app is not a request to delete your server account.

Children

Worn Daily is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can address it.

Website launch updates

If you sign up for launch updates, your email address is processed and stored through Netlify Forms to send Worn Daily launch news. You can withdraw your signup by contacting us through the support page. We do not sell this list or use it for unrelated marketing.

Website support requests

If you submit the website support form, your email address and message are processed and stored through Netlify Forms to handle and respond to your request. Do not include passwords or sensitive collection information in support messages. Contact us through the support form for requests concerning support submissions.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Worn Daily changes. The effective date identifies the current version. For privacy questions or requests, visit the Worn Daily support page.
